Cookies & telemetry notice
Last updated: 19 April 2026
This page lists every cookie we set and every piece of telemetry we collect about your visit. We don’t use any third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or social-media pixels.
Cookies we set
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| portal_token_* | Keeps you signed in to the customer portal between page loads. | 5 minutes idle (refreshed on each page you visit while signed in) | Strictly necessary, first-party, httpOnly |
Strictly necessary cookies don’t require a consent banner under UK PECR / EU ePrivacy because the customer portal can’t function without them.
Page-load telemetry (optional)
On every page you visit, we send a small first-party measurement to our own server with the URL path, your viewport size, and how big the page was (in bytes). We use it to spot slow pages and broken navigation. We don’t set a tracking cookie, we don’t store a persistent identifier, and we don’t share it with anyone.
You can opt out of this at any time. If you do, the site continues to work normally — only the performance monitoring stops.
Third-party cookies
We don’t embed any third-party scripts that drop cookies on this site. If you go to Stripe to pay a deposit, Stripe sets its own cookies on its own domain — that’s out of our control and explained in Stripe’s cookies notice.
